E39 door cards

mornin....
do the interior door cards on an E39 'pop off' like they do on an E34 (and a mark 2 granada, for that matter)? ive tried to pull it off with a bit of force but the bugger wouldnt budge. i cant see any obvious screws etc and i dont want to break anything.

From memory there are screws under the wood trim and one hidden in the internal door handle well under a black plastic cover.

Two tips - get some spare clips from BMW as they always break when removing/refitting and make sure you reconnect the cable/wire to the internal door handle properly - it can sometimes pop off whilst refitting.
