new 3 series ? 19" wheel option / any pictures ?
Discussion
I bought my 335d saloon used so I never got the chance of speccing the wheels but my pal that I bought it off told me there was no options ?
anyway looking at the other thread on here about se or sport the car pictured on there has some nice looking wheels so looks like there is different options available ?
anyway my question is has anyone got any pictures with anything other than the standard (and a tw*t to clean) wheels that I have.

Jeff,
My 335i Saloon M Sport has the same wheels as yours, and until very recently they were no options for upgrading to 19's.
However, since the release of the M-Sport Coupé and convertible a new 19" is now avalible as an option for the saloon.
I am also looking into getting some 19" wheels and have a short list of these that im tempted with.
M5 wheels.
M6 wheels.
M3 CSL wheels.
Personally I wouldn't get anything other than a BMW wheel as I dont want the car to look 'done up'
Ill find some pictures and post them up...

Right here are the wheels...
Firstly, the new 19" M Sport alloy that was released with the MS Coupé, now avaliable on the saloon.

M3 CSL wheel...

M5 Wheel....

M6 Wheel....

Of course there are hundred's of different wheels you could go for.... Personally I like the M6 wheels... (can I get these before le mans though???)

many thanks for that the 19" M sport alloys are very very nice.. not sure they would be any easier to keep clean though ..
Does any one know if an E60 wheel is the same offset /fitment ? I had a set of 19" 5 spokes on my old car (think they were off a 7 series / ) and I liked them and were a doddle to clean!

Same wheels on my (now departed) 335i M sport saloon.
Go to halfords where they sell a soft conical brush for wheel cleaning, it fits between the narrow spokes of the 18" M sports making it very easy to keep them clean.
At £7.99 it is a load cheaper than the £3k a set of 19" rims and tyres might cost

Why did you get rid of the 335? Go to halfords where they sell a soft conical brush for wheel cleaning, it fits between the narrow spokes of the 18" M sports making it very easy to keep them clean.

Not an option on the saloon are they? So I presume purchased (for many £££££ ) seperately from BMW?Edited by bungle on Thursday 24th May 17:45
£850 for 8.5x19 with 235/35/zr19 rubber. (not sure what brand though)
Sell on the 18" alloys already on the car for £400-500.... and it works out even cheaper
These are for replicas though, if you wanted the original BMW alloys off an M6 you would be looking at thousands... (but they dont fit an E90 anyway so reps is the only way)
Guys, I'm picking up my E90 335d this week which I did a deal on for a set of the 225 19's although they're not a speccable option for the saloon.
For some reason I don't seem able to post pictures, but if you look at the picture on my profile it'll give you an idea of how they look on a black saloon.
