318 ci convertible - facelift?

Hi, got someonee coming to sell me his car tonight. Its on an 03 plate, the book says that this is when they brought out the facelift model. Books 03 prefacelift and facelift. soooooo how do i tell if it is or not?

It won't have the chrome kidney slats as it isnt a 6 cylinder

Personally, I would avoid E46 318 verts....(it was my previous car), they are simply far too underpowered.

Mine has a 5 speed, I think the diesels were the only one's to get 6 speed gearboxes

I thnk 330ci's are 6 speeds, my 325ci is only 5 speed

Cheers for the help. was a pre-facelift but bought it anyway cus was 1500 under book so got a good deal. quick enough for an 18 year old mind. couldnt insure much more.
