Quite good fun, very fast but handling a little "hairy" over 100!!

Very nice interior and no real problems AFAIK.

Things to watch are Vanos (E36 M3 engine) and get an insurance quote!

Had two now, so feel free to ask anything specific.

Coupe or canvas? I have a coupe and smiles per mile are up there with anything. Softops are great value for money at the moment, but handling suffers with no roof compared to coupe, but can be helped with strut braces and better antiroll bars. We drove to Italy and Corsica on a camping holiday when we first got ours, a holiday to remember, especially in the Alps! Servicing is cheaper than my old E30 rag! less goes wrong. Z

I'm 6'1" and dont have seat right back, head room wont be a problem with the roof down! It took me a while to get used to quite an upright driving position. The clutch is quite heavy and a long push, so sitting slightly closer to the wheel is beneficial, in my opinion. The best upgrade is a braided hydraulic clutch hose, transforms it. Happy hunting, dont buy a crah repaired no matter how minor. Z
