retro fit sunroofs BMWs

Has anyone out there fitted a retro fit, or had fitted a retro fit sunroof into a 3 series beamer... I'm thinking about having one done and been quoted a price of £1200 for a Hollandia 740 glass one. I juste wanted to know whether anyone has has gone down this path.....????

Is it really worth it? Does your car have air con?

That's a lot of money for an extra bit of ventilation, especiialy given you'll get none of it back when you sell on.

Yea it does have aircon and you're right it's a bit pricy just to get a tan,...!!

Not only will you get nothing back for it, you will probably decimate the value of you car.

If you want a sunroof find a car with it already, thats what I did, however they are quite rare, as most people went for aircon (as it was free if no roof was spec'd). The sunroof was an £797 option, so not many went for it.

As the others have already stated, it really is not worth it. Sunroofs (rooves?) are no longer in vogue a factory fit sunroof will add little or nothing to the value of a car, an aftermarket one will add even less and may well reduce the resale value.

That will be at least £1200 down the drain. Don't do it. Aftermarket sunroofs always, always look sh1te.
