Very impressed, a 56 with 4000 miles and a lot of kit. I am new to BMW - had hang ups with the stereotype image but the car goes like stink.

One problem though and I don't know how but I have already scuffed the 19 inch wheels - what would be a cost to refurb etc?

Also the airbag warning sticker in the passenger door opening is initially written in arabic? then english. It was a bmw UK car bought from a BMW UK dealer?

Welcome to the world of uber diesels - had mine since Nov 06 and nearly 19k miles on it - fantastic. I too have scuffed all 4 of the 19" rims - there's so little rubber between you and the road, every kerb becomes a nightmare. Refurbs are between 50-100 quid each depending on where you go (so I have told). I'm sure someone will post a recommendation

Its bad hitting the kerbs, even worse when some chav tries to steal your wheels and damages the surround of EVERY wheel nut with the knuckle of whatever wrench he was using.... He obviously did not have the correct locking nut ....

Costs around £75 per rim.

Go for a specialist wheel refurb place rather than tnhrough a dealer who dont have the specialist knowledge to do this kind of thing!

Picked mine up last Thursday as a replacement for the Alpina and a Volvo S60.
What a great car.
Avoided damage to the wheels so far ... pleasantly surprised at how easy they are to clean after the Alpina's.
