Just a quicky.

A friend of mine drives a current shape 7-Series and is considering changing it soon because the miles are climbing up.

I've tried to encourage him down the route of other motors but the 7-series ticks all his boxes. My question is: Are BMW due to release a new 7-Series in the next year or so???

I'm meeting my mate in an hour or so, so any knowledge would be welcome!

Cheers!

As far as I know, it'll be around for a couple of years yet - they've only recently face lifted the thing.

However, it was the first of the bangle creations, and has been around for what, 4 years now?

Usual model life dictates a change in the next couple of years.

Slightly academic though - it'll still depreciate like a used condom, regardless of replacement model arriving biggrin

New 7 on sale from mid next year as far as I know, will not be a facelift.

I think 2008 will be a bit too soon for the F01 (new E-number code) new 7 series as the facelift was only a year ago and each model has a 7 year shelf life.

Current model was launched in 2001.

Fair comment, time flys.
I've heard that E-numbers might change, fact or no?
