Recently got a low mileage 99 323CI, in great condition except for both the outer edges of the front seat side bolsters are worn in that the black hide has worn to greyish. Doesn't look like grain is too damaged except colour has worn off. The question is will an application of good quality back shoe cream do the job or am I being a tight wad and will have to buy a specialist kit?

The Scuff Master Kit from Gliptone does an excellent job and costs £12.50. Good Luck.

this is becoming an issue on my 7 month old coupe - the sport seats are great but it is virtually impossible to get in or out in a car park without brushing them!
