330 Ci - What does the C stand for?

I always thought it just stood for Coupe but now i'm sure i've seen a "C" on a saloon, so what does it mean?

C does indeed stand for coupe, someones probably stuck a 330ci badge on a 318 saloon not knowing what it means.
