Bear with me, bit of a story here.
I used to drive a Discovery every day, my commute is a 90 mile round trip of motorways and back roads.
My Wife and I agreed to change the Discovery for a Defender Tomb Raider, completely on impulse which we love. Problem is it won't fit in the underground car park at work.
So, I'm using her 328i Cabriolet (e36). Lovely car, only 45,000 miles from new and still drives really well.
Only problem is I keep looking longingly at the 330ci.
My dilemma is this.....the 328 is standard, so has the strangled breathing that it came with. If I spend some money freeing up some horses from the 328, is it even going to be worth upgrading to a 330? I mean, wll a breathed on 328 actually be a better / quicker car?
Also, any recommendations for a specialist that could help me get the best out of the 328? I'm in Hampshire
