Last weekend I had to make a 60 mile trip with a wedding cake in the boot of my car. Nothing like the thought of ruining somebodies wedding to concentrate the mind on smooth driving. Anyway the point of this story, has anybody beaten 42.8 mpg average from 328? I was well chuffed.

I did a 100 mile round trip in my 328 and managed 39.7mpg, thing is i wasn't hanging about either (think fast motorway cruising speed) I was very impressed.
