Dipping Xenons for the continent

Anyone know how to dip Xenons on E46 for continental driving?

there are switches on the back of the lights that dip them the other way, check the manual fot the location.

Believe it or not, you access the switch through a flap in the wheelarch. It is in the handbook somewhere as I found out the info in there pre Le Mans.

Not on an E46 you don't. The manual is very clear about how to do it.

My manual never had instructions for my MY2003 330i.

No you don't. Depnding on vintage, it's either a yellow rotary switch or a white switch behind an opening flap on the back of teh lamp. Either way, you go under the bonnet. I had four E46s with xenons, so I'm somewhat familiar with them.

teh manuals I had were clear for the old version, but hadn't been updated for the new.

thanks guys, located the levers behind the covers, but manual gives two options, neither of which are that accurate, but can you believe it started raining while I was doing it so abandoned the job. Z4 lights are set so wide and low the only place to get to the back is under the arch, My M coupe had light stickers that were useless, they peeled off in the heat, sun and 100w, so just dazzled those continentals
