Electrical problems on a 8 month old

I have been having on and off, the radio stops working or gets stuck on one function. Is there anything I can do apart from keep pulling over and stopping for an hour and then starting again?

What series is it?
I'm home now so won't be able to help until monday.

Bung it into the dealer and get them to fix it?
