I was just wondering if you would be able to help me. I have just looked at a BMW 325i M Sport. It seemed to drive nicely but had curbed alloys a very small ding on the front bonnet near the grill. Its due a service (need to find out what type) and has the odd chip here and there. Something i was not too sure about was the amount of play in the gearstick when in neutral it seemed really sloppy which i was not expecting. It has done 67000 miles. Has half leather seats and the leather matches the colour of the car. The driver seat needs sewing back up on the cloth section as its come a bit loose.
The car is up for £7995 now i know there will probably be some biased opinions here but knowing what i have said above does this sound a good price???

i would walk away fromt his car for a few reasons
no1 - it does not have 250hp, the e46 2001 325i engine has 192 hp.
no2 - it has had its upholstery retrimmed or changed, it was orignally anthractice alcantara/cloth.
no3 - window tints? come on!
no4 - dodgy looking rear spoiler
in summary, its a bit of a gangsta car. but then again that might be what you're after.

Well i have left it now and am looking at a 320d but already have been bitten by one of those too.
I went and viewed what seemed a mint one lastnight and everything seemed about right. So i laid down a £100 deposit and went home to go back and collect today.
Done an HPI Check and it seems like its been clocked. It was advertised with 59k on the clock but it seems that the HPI says it had 144k on the clock last october.
I'm not doing well at the moment

FYI 'sport' versions came with a updated bumpers/bodykit from Y/51 reg. They were then facelifted further during 51 reg to include lights and wider grills.
Probably worth hunting down one of these.
Also, running costs on a 330 are very close to those of a 325 so worth considering these too.

Well i have been onto consumer direct and they seem to think i have a case and that i should write a letter to him stating trading standards or something like that. (140k on a turbo is good i suspect alot of people dont warm them up or let them cool so they sound pretty tough.
On my other case with the 320d lastnight it was typical that after speaking to consumer direct i tried him again and he answered his phone (been playing golf all day) So i'm off to there again tonight to get back my £100 lets hope he's there.
