BMW Compact ...Quick help

So these Compacts, an R plate with a 1.9 engine in specific.

The engine; is it chain driven or cam belt?

Is there anything to look out for in specific?

Chain driven they are.

Nothing in perticular to watch out for apart from the normal stuff, history paint work etc.
