Does anyone know when BMW upped the power on the 320d to 177bhp? Last time I looked they only had 160ish. Thanks

A new style of Alloys on an SE and the current SE alloys are now the standard ES Alloys.
The exhaust now comes out straight aswell

Don't know, I would assume it will happen when/if they face lift the E90 or they may just at it in as they have done with the 1 series 3 and 5 door.

I thought that the E90 facelift was due for the 2009 model year, i.e. September 2008?

I guess you're probably right. If I remember rightly (I was young back then) the E46 came out MY1999 i.e. Aug/Sept 98, facelift came MY2002 in Sept 01.

E87 was facelifted 3yrs into production.
E60- 3.5yrs

I hate the concept of facelifts! To me it devalues the brand. Nothing wrong with genuine rolling improvements, but cosmetic facelifts are just marketing BS to boost sales and piss off owners of pre-facelift models.
