my Z4C turned into a 330i M Sport Coupe, for now.

I went along to pick up my Z4C this morning only to drive off in a 330i M Sport coupe. 15 mins after arriving I met a flustered looking sales man who told me that my car was in the workshop with the two senior technicians working away on the car.

The story going that after prepping the car they started it up and it cut out on them. A whole newspaper later and the fault was diagnosed as a duff solenoid.

End result being a solenoid is on urgent order and I took their 800 mile 330i coupe home with me. I’m told that they hope to have it sorted tomorrow, should the part arrive, and the sales person will deliver it to me after work, all going to plan.


Anyway thoughts on the 330i are that it’s a nice piece of kit. The car pull nice and cleanly through the range and can tramp on. The sound it makes whilst making progress makes me smile, but then I’m coming out of a 320D. Do I want one eeh no not really I want my Z4C. The 330 Coupe strikes a nice balance and provides a sporting edge and an alternative look to a med sized exec car.
