...what is it and why should you reset it? Will it make any difference and, as another poster mentioned that he resets his every month, why should it change from month to month? Is it that it will adapt to the driving style of the first person who drives it afterwards? If that is the case when ids the best time to reset it, before a long journey or a short blast? Sorry for the questions but am one of the mass of "uneducated" BMW owners out there!

Resetting it will giveyou a crisp throttle response and remove the throttle delay. There is asequence to go through using the key in the ignition. There was a post on it a few months back
