The A5 is going back to Audi next week, and i'll be the new owner of an Imola Red 535D M Sport.....can't wait

Last 6 months have been busy with the RS4 and A5, time to settle down now I think with the 535d....

Don't know if anyone's seen the 535d sport in Imola Red in the flesh but by god it looks good.....might not be to everyone's taste I'm afraid but who cares!

It also has AC Schnitzer rear valance and front spoiler fitted at new when it was previously a demonstrator.......

Next step is the DMS treatment, never got round to it with the A5.....

Imola red doesn't always photograph well, but in the flesh it is a stunning colour.

Yer right there, the pics on BMW's website didn't do it enough justice....

Would I be right thinking it will be one of very few Imola Red E60's?

Have seen an E60 M5 in Imola Red but nowt else yet in the current shape 5 series.....

Just to check and too late anyway, I realise the visibility pack adds adaptive xenon headlights to the 535d...but does it have normal xenons as standard at all? Or will I end up with me first car in 3 years to not have xenons at all?

Out of interest, why are you getting rid of the A5?

I'm considering either the new A4, C-Class, e90 or e60 and was under the impression that Audi/Mercedes have genuinely closed the gap between themselves and BMW, in every aspect of the car. What's your opinion?

The AUDI A5 is a fabulous car both in and out and goes/drives very well, prob is for me is I want to go back to a large 4 door saloon again and the 535d seems very highly rated as I like my cars to be nippy!

My A5 is currently going back to Audi next Tuesday but if you're interested in one before then then mine is available at a bargain price & fully loaded!!

I'm tempted by A5 but I'm in a smilar situation as yourself. Currently driving a coupe but we're exepcting our first child in December and need something with 4 doors.

I'm impressed by the efficency and power of BMW's engines but not so convinced by the styling or interiors. Might wait for the facelifted A4 in January or the new C-Class Merc to see how they drive compared to the e90/e60.

Given you've decided on a 535d, can you stretch to a 2007 LCI model?

Not stretching to a 2007 LCI model purely because I'm on my 4th car in 6 months when I get this one so er indoors has put her foot down on further car spending for the moment!
