118d sport remap advice

hi,

got the mrs a bmw 118d sport ona 55plate this week. is there anyone that knows of anywhere in midlands as close to stafford as possible who can chip/remap it?also i know the extra bhp and torque i can get but what will it bring the 0-60mph time down to?

also would it also benefit from a new aftermarket air filter??

and one more thing, where can i get an armrest in black leather for it and also cup holder coz its annoying without any

I used Simon at E-maps to remap my 530d a couple of years ago. He should be able to help and is based in Wolverhampton I believe. He will come to you and offers to remap for his fuel cost only if the ECU is reset by the dealer at any time.

Dont use Chippeduk whatver you do. Almost destroyed my 530d.

heard dms are very good but are also very expensive and think they are quite far from me.

if it was my Z i was tuning i wouldnt mind distance its coz my mrs has the car for work and her days off are different to mine and she cant get insured on my Z to use that.

contacted simon at e mapps, told me £349 all in and thats with coming to my house to do it.

anyone know of how much the acceleration time will go down 0-60mph currently at 10 secs

The most noticeable difference will be in the driveability. I found with my E39 530d that the increased torque was a huge benefit in every day use. The mpg improved by about 5% because the car didn't have to work as hard to make the same progress. The downside is that you will dirve more quickly for a long time after you have had it done!
