Runflat Indicator HELP

I have recently just put a set of CSL 19" Wheels and tyres on my M3.

I have set the pressures as indicated to 33 front 34 rear, I have checked the tyre pressure for the past 3 days when the car is cold and the pressures are 33/34 but I still keep getting a redwarning light on the dash after about 10-15 seconds on the move. Can anyone help ? Is it because I have changed the wheels? Do I have a slow puncture or is the sensor playing up ? I dont think its the last one as I have had both the standard 18" and some rubbish replica 19" on in the last week.

What car? My Z4 is a 2006 build and has tpms based on wheel rotation. If you change pressure then you must reset the system by pressing the tpms button on the dash until the warning light goes yellow. Once you drive away it disappears and only reappears if the pressure changes due to flat/slow or leak.

Later model Z4 use sensors in the valve stem. You've changed the wheels and therefore have lost the senders in each tyre.(unless you changed them over too!) If you didn't then you've lost the system and you'll always get the red warning. Have you followed the handbook for resetting your particular system?

Various diff models have diff ways of resetting the system. Refer to owner's manual as could be something as simple as ignition to position 2, press and hold button on dash for 4-5 seconds, key to position 3.

get them turned off by the dealer, they are a total pain in the ass !

I had the same problem recently when i had new tyres fitted to my M3, you simply have to reset the system, rather than me try to explain it, it is in your handbook, simple enough job and doesnt require a trip to the dealers.

you'll need to reset the system (see manual) - the system works on the differential tyre diameters. As your new wheels will have a different circumference than your old ones, the system thinks a tyre has gone flat.
