BMW E30

Hi all

I want to spend about 2k on a car for occasional use around London and the odd motor way trip.

I would like something reliable but with a bit of old school class and thought the E30 may well fit the bill. It doesn't have to be that fast so I thought a 318I might be the best option. I would by privately but is there any chance I would get one from a dealer for C2k and can anyone recommend one?

2k would get a fairly decent 318i. They're not particularly saught after, so they're generally worth pennies.

For 2k look for a full history, no rust and so on.

2k should get you a nice 318iS - top car and an appreciating classic.
