Hi guys,

Just bought a '99 BMW 323SI. Love the car but when i accelerate hard and let off the throttle there is a 'thump' noice that comes from the rear. I'm worried the axel might have some give in it. Luckly I bought from a dealer so they're going to look at it on Tuesday. But if anyone has any ideas wha it might be i would feel more comfortable that they're not going to lie and tell me its nothing.

Also the throttle is very heavy - IE its really hard to push down - is this normal?

Throttle is very normal, all BMW's have a heavy accelerator.

More likely, your Diff that's knocking
