New 535d touring waiting for me and no cover note!

New 535d M touring ready and waiting to go at dealers but cant get taxed and registered without blinkin cover note from Tesco Insurance - they wont email or fax it to the dealer. Wish I could get one from someone else so I could tell them to go stick it. Waited 30 minutes for them to answer the chuffing phone as well to tell me I couldnt have it. Rant over :@)

Ask your dealer about the 7 day free insurance offered by BMW.

You ring up and the covernote will be with your dealer within a couple of hours max! - registered and you are on your way!

I tried this when I bought the Z4, when they found out I was insuring elsewhere and didn't want a quote they refused to give cover, totally shocked

Just ask for the quote along with the 7 day cover note.

The two women I spoke to did sound like YTS rejects; between the two of them I'm not sure they could figure out what day of the week it was. It took three goes to get the correct spelling of my name.

BMW Insurance worked for me. They sorted the 7 day (free) cover and the quote they gave was better than Churchill who I was with before...
