Has anyone ever experienced the same problem, I'd be driving along average enough speed then if im going to overtake a car i'd give er dixie with the old right foot so then would come the kickdown plenty of oooommmppphh i'd be thinking oh yes this thing can move but then the traction control would kick in for no reason, i mean a dry straight road with good tyres on so i cant work it out, i could turn it off but that doesnt sort the prob out any ideas thanks

Get the ABS (also traction control) sensors checked. Common problem, not a huge job to fix.
