M3 Evo suspension

Is it possible to fit the OE Evo suspension onto a 328i coupe without modification? If so, I assume it is an upgrade of standard kit?

Why bother, it wasnt exactly brilliant as it left the factory,soft and under damped for anything above brisk driving.

save your ££ and time, invest it in some decent after market stuff

Well I need to replace my rear springs anyway, and having just bought all new brakes and a few other bits and bobs I can get my hands on the M3 kit for a VERY good price.

I know it isn't the best for full-on track work, but surely an upgrade over the standard 328i kit.

I don't know the answer, but as the 328 was available as a 'Sport' with the M-tech suspension, it seems likely.

Ask a friendly BMW spare blokey to look up the part numbers of a 328 sport and compare it to the M3 OE part numbers?

Having owned both cars I would say the Evo was a lot firmer than the 328i Sport, I've got a pretty good feeling the M3 suspension was different.

M3 suspension is different to the sport,as the M has M-tech suspension and the sport have a bilstein setup called "Avus" suspension,slightly softer but not standard.

My car isn't a Sport, so just has the M-Tech suspension rather than the Avus pack.

Found someone on another forum that had done the swap, and due to the front springs being designed with the heavier M3 engine in mind, the front of the car will actually raise, so going to knock that idea on the head unless anyone else has found otherwise?
