Certainly not for me Ian, most over rated over expensive rubber on the market is my opinion, I have gone onto Falken FK452's they are fantastic and for sure having tried these i will never pay through the teeth again for other branded stuff such as Michelins..They are within the top three in three different car magazine tests covering wet, dry, handling etc etc. They are also are raved about on the BMW and PH forums (fora?). BMW driver training programmes use them and chatting with the training team in Munich it was clear they really like them and they suit the M3 and Z4's very well. No idea about wear rate.
Falkens do get a lot of positives but not to the extent PS2's get.

I've recently replaced my Goodyear F1's for Michelin PS2. I have to say the F1's provide much better grip in the wet than the PS2, dry they are around the same.
On a normal Z4 you probably can't tell the difference, but mine is supercharged, so with close to 370bhp and 440NM you can tell... car spins in 3rd now when damp and the back tries to fish tail, didn't with the F1's... it also kicks the rear out a lot easier.
Problem is it's impossible to get the older F1's, hence I have PS2 now.. give the new F1's a go if they do them in your size.
