User manual for E36 328i SE Touring

My first post on this forum so first of all "Hello!"

I have just purchased a 1999 (T reg) 328i SE Touring from a local garage and need to get a few things sorted so I wondered if anyone here might have a few bits of advice.

First of all, I'd really like to get a user manual. Is my best bet to go to BMW and order a hard copy? Also, can I download a pdf from somewhere? I have Googled it but have come up empty handed so far.

Whilst it's in great condition and everything seems to be working well (engine sounds sweet as a nut, even after 122k), are there any things I should get checked out to be on the safe side? It has just been through it's MOT in December '07.

I also need some floor mats and have found this company:

They have some mats for 3 series E36 models. Should I go for the Saloon mats? They don't specifically mention a Touring option.

Oh, I also would like some advice on replacing the aged radio/tape player with something that I can run my iPod through (so it would need a mini-jack audio input socket). Actually, the radio is fine so I suppose I could always get one of those tape adaptor devices and just use that? I hardly ever play real CDs these days if I am travelling. I'm sure it would make a break-in to steal the radio a lot less likely. Is there a more elegant solution?

OK, well, just in case anyone else has the problem of getting hold of an Owner's Manual, my local BMW spares dept. was able to order a new replacement one for me for about £20 inc. VAT.

Another question: any thoughts on the best Haynes Service & Repair Manual for an E36, 328i ES, 1999 Touring?

Thanks SLCZ3. It might have seemed like a dumb question but the Sept 98 to 2003 S & R Manual only seemed to be applicable to the E46 models and I wanted to be sure it also covered the E36 models. If this manual does cover T reg E36 models then that's fine and dandy.
