e60 Microfilter replacement

So I'll assume you're not having a laugh, this is a DIY job as there's 2 large panel filters which can be accessed with the bonnet up. They're under the big plastic thing that shrouds your wiper blades. Have a look at www.realoem.com for pics.

Not havin a laugh at all, most I ever do when it comes to cars is check my oil/water and tyres!!!
Oh and drive it!
Did once change oil on a car, but when I drained it, the container I used wasn't big enough and the drive got covered in oil....hence safer for me to pay the experts and I'll stick to my day job!!

You can take your car to any dealer,independant or fitter that you like.In 03/04 an EU law came into play in the motor industry which stopped manufactorers from forcing the customer to have all works carried out at the selling dealer.
You can now have you car serviced whether 08 07 or 06 plate at your local garage or even ATS (oh jesus!)without effecting your warranty.As long as the book is stamped and a reciept as proof of service is available.
That goes for aftermarket warranty work too you choose the garage not the warranty,although the first 3 year manufactor is in house only.
