Oh yes there is...
or will be very soon.
If you want one get down yam local dealer - sorry stealer.
That's what the stealer told me when I ordered the Z4MC back in June -- still no sign of them, and I'd only want one once supply had started to exceed demand or will be very soon.

Having had a 320i convertible for a day today I can honestly say I've never driven a car with so little power.
My wife was up for buying one and we thought it would be as good to drive as her 320d Touring. How wrong were we! Whilst it's a a good car, the word underpowered doesn't even go near it. I was told I could place an order for a 320D convertible but there would be no discount as demand would outstrip supply. It would also be around £35k new and I can buy a 330D touring for £5K less (nearly new) and possibly even a 335d Touring which would be even better.
The 335D convertible would really be a fantastic car.

I just think it's a combination they have missed..
I doubt they've overlooked it. I have no doubt that there will be one eventually, the E46 Cab didn't get a 320Cd until late on and a 330Cd even later (all manuals for some reason, wEiRd).mogul said:

Agreed. I had a 320i M Sport whilst the dealer waited for the V5 they lost for my 335d. Appaling engine. 320d has it beaten in every aspect; Power, torque, speed. The 320i doesnt even make a nice noise! The car we had was an Msport and over 36k! More than I paid for the 335d with only 6k on the clock! My wife was up for buying one and we thought it would be as good to drive as her 320d Touring. How wrong were we! personally think there should be the option but they say the 330d is plenty enough.
