Upgrading E60 Sat Nav to get postcode entry?

I have a Nov 05 car with prof sat-nav but find it annoying you can't enter full post-codes. If I upgrade to the current disc will this provide it?

No, the only way is to buy a third part one that's had the postcodes added as a POI
