I,VE GOT A FLAHING RED LIGHT ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF MY STEREO NEXT TO A BUTTON MARKED BC.THE CAR IS 525 SE D ON 02 PLATE. ANY IDEAS TO WHY IT,S FLASHING AND WHAT IT IS? THANKS
My '99 E36 has one too. It only flashes when the car is locked as far as I can tell. I think the light indicates that the stereo is inoperable without the car having first been mobilised in a legitimate manner.
