Radiator Fan + Centeral Locking Problems

I just bough an e36 for the first time
Its a 1992 320i 2L
But it had a few problems

First of all a tapping on startup and running
I decided to give it an oil change
New oil filter
New air filter
New fuel filter
New rocker cover gasket as that was leaking slightly.
These were things that i knew needed doing.

But there were a few things i thought i could live with.
Firstly,
The radiator fan doesn't stop
From the second you start the engine
Even if its snowing
So I'm assuming theres a problem there haha

And the central locking doesn't work first time
When you lock the car, it locks and then unlocks
But if you lock again it locks

Both aren't going to kill me
But there a bit annoying
Any ideas?

I take it you mean the electric fan in front of the radiator, the one behind the rad is attatched to the engine and mechanically linked.

If the electric one is going all the time it could be an aircon pressure sensor or an engine teperature sensor fault, if the fan itself fails it tends to run continuously even with the ignition off.

Re the central locking it is probably a door lock actuator, try locking it manually from each door and see which one the fault does not occur from and start diagnosing the wiring from there, also the micro-switches in the latch can play up if the control unit does not see the door as shut the locks bounce.
