330d Acceleration probs

Today I have noticed that upon acceleration, it kicks down and at 4,ooo rpm the car stopped accelerating and started jerking as if it was being starved of fuel. I tried the same again and it happened again. But this evening I was out and the acceleration problem seem to be getting worse, as it is starting to happen at 3,000 rpm. Any Ideas ?

when did you last change the fuel filter??

Low pressure fuel pump or MAF sensor giving up.

Low pressure fuel pump around £300 fitted, MAF around £100 DIY.

Thanks for your help. ETA Motorsport said the fault codes shows that the low pressure fuel pump is at fault. With any luck it will be replaced on Monday.

inline fuel pump (under passenger footwell) cost me ~£220 all in.

It cost me £250 supplied and fitted

Just phoned up my local indy and im taking it in tomorrow afternoon. They are going to charge £40+ vat for diagnostic check then if that shows nothing it could be another road check to determine fualts manually. He said it could be fuel pump relay, egr, mass air filter etc.
Hope its not gonna cost me too much!

Left the car with them today and he phoned just before closing to say it was a problem with the fuel pump. They are going to check them all in the morning and replace the required one.
