135M Thoughts Prior to Purchase

Hi, thinking of buying a 135m. Based in Perth, OZ and no cars in country until may at earliest so cant see or drive to check it out. All mag reviews are good but want an unbiased opinion.
Was looking at 335 in Uk but here they are 20k GBP more than a 135M so will i be able to live with it. Use as second car have an SUV for family but would want to get the 3 kids in sometime. Im tall 6'4".
Has anybody drive/sen in flesh/bough one yet?

I have a 135i on order, which is replacing my B5 RS4 (simply due to silly rules about the max age of cars my company will allow you to have with a car allowance!).
When I test drove the 135i, I simply loved it. I also drove 335i the same day and the 135i felt much more composed and "together" - I'm guessing smaller, stiffer chassis and I guess the small weight saving helping here. It has a much better ride than my other half's 2004 118d hatchback - improvements in the run flat tyres and better suspension setup.
The bottom line was that I walked away from the test drive with a big smile - no mean feat given the performance of the RS4. It can get pricey when absolutely loaded with toys (mine was north of £38k), but be a little more sensible and you can get a great value pocket rocket that is also an accomplished cruiser.

lotus, head on over to www.babybmw.net - there are a few people who have bought or are buying a 135i and a good proportion of the posters are from Oz. I'm sure you'll get feedback regards the 135i driving experience.

You know the 135 only has two seats in the back??? When you say you need to get the 3 kids in - Is that with the wife as well, because it wont happen. Ive driven a 123 d and thought it was a great car, fantastic chassis - very well balanced
