Morego Chip for my E46 328

Hi there chaps,

Is it worth spending £400 for a 22bhp upgrade with Morego?

The E46 328 has around 197 bhp as it is, which is nice (not as nice as the 330's 240bhp tho') but I was wondering if the promises of greater fuel consumption and the blessing of 22 extra bhp would be worth it.

Opinions?
Does anyone have the conversion?

I'm rather sceptical that you can chip a 328i and get 22 bhp.

No mate its not, better off with a decent exhaust and filter i think!!


May not get 22bhp with those but a nicer sounding car etc.

I guess no one has got one of these chips then. Morego seem to get some good reviews.

I've heard of great things about Morego chips on 318is a few years back. I think it's worth changing the manifold if you're after more power, IIRC the 325i manifold is higher flowing, so with an induction kit and decent exhaust should produce the power you're after.

IF it gives you 22BHP, which i would doubt on a petrol car.

Possible, I've heard about ~15bhp gains on 318is with this chip. On an economy tuned 2.8 I think it's possible.

Could you get a refund if you got an independant rolling road to prove that the chip didn't meet the claims?
