Delighted with new 335i

After some research, I was delighted to find that the new 335i is probably one of the fastest cars below Red Ken's hateful (proposed) new 225 gm/km CO2 limit (i.e., the limit above which the Congestion Charge rises to £25). So, whilst I will still keep the Alpina, my new commuting car has arrived.
I am deeply impressed with it already - the auto box is extremely slick and smooth, and the engine pulls like a train. It still has those less than wonderful run flat tyres, so the ride is ok, but could be better. But no complaints about the handling - very classic front engine, rear wheel drive that can be steered delightfully on the throttle.

Thanks. It is a good colour, Monaco Blue, although it is very dark and hence hard to keep clean!
May I ask what tyres you have replaced the runflats with? I am tempted to do the same. Although the runflats don't seem as intrusive as they were on my 120d (where they were truly awful), I can still feel the unsprung weight and the edginess over short bumps and ridges.

Book figure the 335i is slightly quicker that the 335d ( for both standard cars), on the road 40-140+ nothing in it.
