Have just signed up so be kind to the newbie!

I've never owned a BMW before and looking at the idea of getting a 3 Series

Obviously PistonHeads is by FAR the best resource to get into conversations about this, but wondered if anyone had any other suggestions for community/forum websties to look at before talking to dealers/sellers?

E46fanatics is good if you are looking for an E46, but you haven't stated...

Are you looking for a new one, used one, soft top, estate, diesel, petrol?

My budget probably wouldn't stretch to the E90 so great place to start - thanks!

Other than that, I like the 3 door hatch, but I'm open to suggestions from current owners.

@Donut I meant in person... and about specific cars, I'm really only after some generic thoughts at present, but sorry if you took offense.

Using a 'Sport' version one at the moment, surprised just how fun it is Feels quite a bit more frisky than a 325Ci Coupe, handlings great fun too
