BMW 330Ci Convert 03 deposit down, but have a concern!!

Hi guys

I have today put down a £100 deposit on a BMW 330Ci Convert Auto Step Hardtop with just over 20, 000 miles in the individual blue/purple colour. The whole car is in A1 condition, HPI clear, full BMWSH u know the usual. The car is on an 03 plate but the only concern I have is that it is veering to the left at low speeds (20-30mph).

I noticed the two front tyres are on the wrong way round (ie Bridgestone tyres have the rotation directions - tyres going forwards when should be going backwards) because the seller had a puncture and maybe the idiot tyre dude got it wrong! I've asked the tracking to be done before it is picked up but could there be anything more to it?

Get the tyres changed round when they do the tracking.
Is it private or trade?

Could be wear in the front wishbones - common problem, and not a great deal to sort. Also, because the front tyres are quite wide they do sometimes pick up ruts and pull suddenly every now and again. Probably nothing to be unduly concerned about.

private, and would the wishbones be sorted out by BMW as a common fault at little cost? if so, how much we looking at. Im picking it up on Saturday

I would imagine the wishbones would not be a warranty item as they have simply "worn" rather than broken. I'd echo the point on these vehicles tramlining, especially if on larger wheels and also in my experience they are really quite sensitive to tyres so fitting them backwards would certainly not help!

I'd get it checked by a BMW dealer as a provision of sale. E46's on big wheel are a bit of a nightmare with pulling and tramlining so it's worth being sure.

My mate just had a quote of £180 for the wishbone on his 330ci sport, not sure if that was for fitting aswell or not.
