resetting airbag warning light?

Hello,
just a quickie - does anyone know what the cost is for having the airbag warning light switched off at bmw dealers? - took the e46 door off last week and had to disconnect the airbag... i understand that even though there is no fault with the bags the warning light now stays on on the instrument cluster panel... (or is there an aftermarket tool i could buy to do this diy?)

Depends really. £10 + VAT or maybe free. Phone up your local dealership & ask for service.

I got told it would be £70+vat from bmw. In the end got in done from an indy for free while they were doing some engine diagnostic work.
