Put deposit on 840 - need help.

I have put down a deposit on an 840 and I would like help and advice on buying. I will book an RAC inspection and make sure everything is ok, but what else should I look for?

Only cars with the M60 engine where prone to problems, if for instance your'e getting a 4,4 litre then dont worry,it only applied to pre 97 cars but if that is what you've got then look out for lumpy idle/high oil/fuel/ consumption !
