E36 325 - brilliant car

Just picked up a 1993 325i manual and what a great car. I have had a few BMWs before and this just keeps following the same trend - just a great car. Climate control may need a re-gas, a new driver's door seal and a new gear knob would be good purchases but not essential. Just clicked over to 100k today and returned 33mpg on a 600 mile trip last week. Has cruise and sunroof and all that is missing is leather - all for 900 pounds! It does seem to rev quite high on the motorway as 80 mph is around 3750rpm - is this normal. My old E34 535 manual (completely different engine I know) was barely ticking over!

Awesome your happy with it mate, i enjoyed my E36 for a few years. Was a good car. Just took whatever i could throw at it.. Only thing that broke was the diff!

I think the rev counter is correct mate!

Sounds correct - I remember thinking that my 325i was geared a bit shorter than I expected.

Yea that does sound correct at 80mph. Awesome car still see the coupe I used to have, relatively quick and a brilliant cruiser too, still miss that car.
