330 Tracking Advice

Hello

My 330 convertible took a clought to a kerb a little while ago and thought nothing of it, wasn't me driving at the time.

Noticed by chance today the same tyre is down to the thread on the inside edge, only by chance too as I parked in a tricky place and left the wheels askew. The outer edge has a good 4mm.

Where's best to get the tracking sorted? Main stealer in Portsmouth or just good ol' ATS or something.

I guess too I need to get both front tyres changed at same time, OE Pilot sports, Ug.

I have taken mine to Pro-tyre in Fareham before. They did a great job at the 4 wheel lazer alignment. I actually phoned them today to ask if they still do it. Will cost 70pounds. Money well spent.

Oh, forgot to say, lazer alignment is a lot more throrough than tracking.
Dont take it to the MD - they will rape you.

Denmead Tyre Services has a good reputation as well. Do post after you've had it done.

Did the steering wheel angle when driving straight ahead change at all after the kerb encounter?

Hey all, thanks for the advice.

Car duly dropped into pro-tyre yesterday, but with a few surprises.....

The fronts needed doing, as they were falling apart on the side that took a hit, and best to do in pairs.

The rears I thought were okay with plenty of tread at but when jacked up the middle was on the indicators, so they went too. I ended up with four pilot sport 2's fitted and re tracked for 742.14, UG. My bushses are also almost gone on the front, so going to get some power flex ones if I can (any advice welcome)

Protyre were very good and helpful, and said will do bushses if I supply them too.
