First off what colour is it? (is it an individual paint)
Is the leather 'bespoke' Alpina or just normal 5 series?
Many Extras? More detail required, extras and trim/colour combo etc really do make these cars and effect the value
Remember it is a bit special and worth more than a 530i BUT its not an M5 (or a B10 V8S for that matter) so price carefully (your likely buyer will have most likely studied the market place closely and be quiet descerning so ensure the car is correctly presented) and dont be too optermistic(sp)

If you bought it new worth digging out the original invoice (or if used contact Sytner Nottingham though they charge for specs!)Alpina's are all about the little details
In short, E39 B10 values are all over the place - which is fairly typical for any older Alpina.
Bad Bits.
As a 3.3 it's not regarded as the desirable of the two variants, which is a little curious as it has the better steering, is almost as quick, and can be surprisingly frugal. Beige interior doesn't sell well either if it's got beige carpets.
On the plus side, it's a facelift and therefore very rare in 3.3 form.

Value wise, depending on spec like Sat-Nav, rear blinds, what type of leather it has, and any other trinkets like comms pack - reckon between £12K and £14k max. Less if you want to move it on quickly, more if you don't. There's a similar car on the autotrader at £18K which has been for sale for over a year now.
