Re the wheels and tyres - looks great, as others have said - if you'd have described it to me, I'd have said no - but they look good. Always a bit wary of non OEM alloys, but sounds like you have done your homework - and good tyres are the main thing.

Those wheels look great, so what does it matter if they are replica or not?I agree on cheap tyres though - never on one of my cars thanks. You only have four small contact areas with the road and my experience with cheap tyres on a car I bought was an eye opener. It was transformed with some decent rubber.
i am keeping the original 17's for when i sell the car on, i will weigh one at the weekend against the std wheels (when i swapped them over they felt the same if not a little lighter) wheel only the ppl i bought them off said they were about 13kgs which is light for 19" reps,
as for the ride - i wish i had ditched the RFT's ages a go, no more tramlining, smoother, less harsh - need i say more? the tyres are Falken 452's which are around £550 for the set alone and thats from an internet cheapo place.

My car is listed in my profile quite clearly.I cannot see how the tyres could be any good for £900 new. The last set of tyres for my car in a similar size were £550 alone - meaning the wheels would be £350. Yea, I can see that - not. I simply posted my opinion - I do not like replica wheel/tyre packages of the sort found all over Ebay, thats all.

and if the doubter read my previous post he would see the tyres
are £550 from the cheapest tyre supplier i have seen, i dont really care what his/her thoughts are the general thoughts are they look great and i love them.
also i will weigh both the old and new at the weekend (with the tyres on) as this will be the true test for unsprung weight as i fear the run flats may weigh more than the replacement tyres

The replica rims market is hugely competitive, as are alloy wheels sales on ebay. Ebay sellers work on much thinner margins so its perfectly viable that that rim and tyre combo might retail in your local tyre dealer for £1100, so that would make them better quality in your eyes wouldnt it?
No, it wouldn't. A decent set of brand new wheels is around £2000ish for wheels and tyres for quality wheels from BMW, BBS or Oz. I don't trust these cheap wheels.At the end of the day he asked us if we liked - I answered his question and explained why!
