BMW 750 iL E38 starts + idles but won't rev any ideas

Just left car five minutes went back started ok but won't rev at all that was ten weeks ago two garages have looked at it but can't find problem so i have it back now to sort out myself. I was wondering if any of you have come across anything like this before?

Did the garages tell you what they did?

What happens if you put it in drive?

Can you still drive it by creeping along through the gears?

Could it be in limp home mode?

Does it still run smoothly?

Are there any warning lights?

Check to see if the throttles are opening when you open the throttle, if not it could be the pedal throttle pot on the fly-by-wire system.
