round or flat pins on e46

I've picked up an e46c 2001 BMW over the weekend and i am looking at updating the headunit with a better one that will allow me to use my ipod for music (at the moment there is a business unit with the 6 CD changer).
The wiring harness that i am about to buy is a round pin, but i've also seen that there is a flat pin version too! I'm now not sure if i have are the round or flat pins(i assumed that they were round).
Given that the car was reg on sep 2001 and is an E46 convertible 330Sport, would anyone know if the pins are round or flat?
I'm not near the car at the moment as it's parked up on the other side of London.
