1996 7 series TV function

Ive just got another 740iL, but i was after deactivating the function that turns off the TV over a few mph! I did this on my previous 750iL by turning the key to position 2 and holding one of the buttons on the dash but i cant for the life of me remember the correct procedure!

i bet im about to annoy loadsa people who have paid for this, (or charge for it)
1. select TV mode
2. select Contrast (format)
3. Press and Hold selector Knob
4. turn off key whilst holding selector Knob
5. wait 11 secs and let go of Knob
6. turn on key
7. upgrade complete.
Unlock teletex?
As above but change brightness

Will that work on a 1999 E46 Mk2 NaviComp with TV?1. select TV mode
