I've been paying the dealer £15 a litre fot the stuff and my 330 gets through 4 litres between services. Has anyone found a good source of this oil at a discount? I don't want risk trying the alternatives so looking to stick to this spec.
This bloody thing always confuses me.Isn't LL01 for normal cars and LL04 for M3s ?
Morrisons seems to have had an offer on recently. £9.99 per litre and en extra 25% off.
Alternatively just buy 4 litres. Halfords is £39.99.
Finally, CostCo suposedly do the correct grade of Mobil 1 for around £23 for 4 litres.

Thanks Fox - is this teh same spec as LL04?
There are both LL01 and LL04 versions around - I think the 0w30 is LL01 and there is another grade which is LL04?Here's about a good a deal as any on Mobil 1 ESP - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mobil-1-5-30-Fully-Synthetic...
I have found this the cheapest around for LL04 and is used at my local BMW dealership

Wow, no posts for over 2 years and then a new post to resurrect a 2 year old thread http://www.bmminiparts.com/PartDetails.aspx?Invent...

You wouldn't happen to have any interest in this website, would you? Just for the sake of transparency of course - and the possibility of a special PH discount.
I've used the old partsauction and the new bmminiparts websites for hard to find e34 bits in the past.
PS, Toby, I did try to reply to your email but it get's a undeliverable response to the @partsauction.co.uk email that's in your profile & on the email I received.
