E36 heater/ac/blower prob

i've got an E36 328 coupe with climate and have noticed compared to some newer cars that my AC doesn't blow that hard when set on full compared to over cars, just wondered if the system could be blocked by a leaf or something somewhere?

any ideas on where to start looking as i've no real idea on how the system works to start checking really.

They are not brilliant systems but should be sufficient. Yes the air channels can get blocked by leaves etc. You will need to take off the plastic panelling below the windscreen to get at the right area. I think the winscreen wipers need to come off first IIRC. The nut to remove them is under a plastic cover on their pivot on the bottom of the windscreen.

Then I would replace the element/charcoal filter which is done as per below. Notice the colour of the filter...you will have a lot of leaves and things that fall out as you can see in the pictures so have the hoover ready.
